Outside the Wire News

The Outside the Wire team have been out and about over the past fortnight raising awareness of the work we do with military veterans with substance misuse issues and their families.

On Saturday 11 March Outside the Wire was the Kare Plus Community Hero for the NCFC game against Blackburn. Our recovery workers Andy Craze and Phil Dunn attended the match with service users to bring out the match ball ahead of kick-off. You can read more on Norwich City's website.

On Friday 17 March we attended the Norfolk Armed Services Covenant's five year celebrations at Norfolk County Council. The event was marked with speeches from those involved with the Covenant and an exhibition covering the past five years of the covenant. We had the opportunity to talk to local MP Clive Lewis and Mayor of Norwich Marion Maxwell about Outside the Wire, both of whom were very supportive of our work.
