Worstead Festival

The Matthew Project Under18 workers from the North/East team and workers from The Junction joined forces and set up a stall at the festival. The purpose was to raise awareness of our services to the public in the area and to make contact with people who may need us in the future from all over Norfolk and Suffolk. The weather was great (until about 2pm on Sunday...)

We had great fun showing the public the beer goggles which went down very well with all who had a go, as well as delivering the very important message about personal safety and vulnerability when using alcohol.

Many people came to have a look and took information for themselves or their professional work, and went off sporting a Matthew Project sticker or badge.

A big thank you to Ally Williams, Brian Morton, Toby Lipton, Tamsin Forster, Eve Hart and Freya Pedley for their time and dedication! Also, thanks to Clare Lincoln for the loan of a table and chairs.

Finally a huge thank you to John Bacon and the rest of the Worstead Festival Committee for having us with you! We enjoyed the whole event and hope to come again next year!
