Voicebox launch

On Monday 8th October 2012 we launched our Voicebox fundraising campaign at the Forum in Norwich, to begin raising funds for a new Voicebox.

The Youth Team deliver sessions on our mobile outreach vehicle, the Voicebox, in locations across Norfolk & Suffolk reaching young people within their community. This unique part to our service enables us to engage with young people by taking the service to them.

The Voicebox launch was attended by many friends, supporters and funders of the Youth Team and wider Matthew Project, along with many members of the community. The Voicebox was parked outside the Forum, attracting attention from those passing by. We had team members on hand talking to people as they popped onto the caravan and many made donations there and then.

Inside the forum we presented the need for a new Voicebox, and evidenced the good work it carries out across both counties.

This superb day enabled us to convey the great service we offer and want to continue to provide. We were able to celebrate the successes we have had over the years and the work we look forward to doing in the future. The enthusiasm of those who presented on the day and the workers who were on the Voicebox did the Matthew Project proud.

It was a great day to kick ofour campaign to raise £40,000 for our new Voicebox.

Thank you to everyone who was involved and made the day a huge success.
