Celebrity cakes raising funds for Norfolk Charity
The Bishop of Norwich splendid 4-acre garden will be open to the public on Sunday 2nd July (2pm-4.30pm) in support of the charity The Matthew Project.
Relax for an afternoon while enjoying tea and home-made cakes. The garden hosts extensive beds of shrubs and plants (some of which are quite rare), a pear tree garden, a traditional herbaceous border, rose beds and a kitchen garden. It is a real haven in the centre of Norwich.
The Matthew Project is giving you the chance to win yourself a cake made by a local celebrity. In the celebrity ‘guess the weight of the cake' competition, cakes are being made by Delia's Canary Catering Chefs using a recipe by Delia Smith, Richard Hughes from Norfolk restaurant Lavender House and Julie Reigner from BBC Look East. All celebrities are baking a cake and hoping to raise a smile and funds for The Matthew Project.
All funds will go towards the Norfolk charity, The Matthew Project which works with all members of the community with drug and alcohol related issues and delivers inspiring education to young people about the risks of drugs and alcohol, helping them to make safer life choices.
Entrance £2.50 (guide dogs only please) via Bishopgate, Norwich
