Praxis

From September 2011 we will be participating in Praxis, a three month Youth Work based volunteer opportunity for 18 to 25 year olds.

Three local Christian charities have teamed up to offer a brand new opportunity for young people in and around Norwich. The Matthew Project, Norwich Youth For Christ and YMCA Norfolk are excited to announce the launch of Praxis, a three month full-time volunteer scheme which gives young people the chance to gain foundational skills for working with young people, and develop character and integrity.

Praxis is about learning by doing, and it's designed to give experience of working in the three organisations that won't just be good fun whilst it happens, but will put participants in good stead for whatever they do next.
