The Matthew Project is well known for its excellent work with people in need in Norfolk. Would you like to join us? We are looking to recruit people to work who are excellent at what they do and are dedicated to helping others.
 
The Matthew Project - Suffolk

We are well known for our excellent work with people in need, providing support to those who are affected by their own, or another person's, use of drugs or alcohol. We have been awarded the contract to provide specialist services to young people in Suffolk and are looking to recruit the following team: 

Service Manager - £32,349 - £34,489 pa
We need an experienced professional to manage a team and develop services in Suffolk to provide support to young people affected by substance misuse and their families. Ideally you will have experience of supervising and co-ordinating a team, working in partnership with local agencies and excellent data management skills.
 
 

Young People's Substance Misuse Workers - £17,964 to £20,305 pa
We need six Young People's Workers to join us. Three of these positions will be based within the Youth Offending Team and will have a criminal justice focus. One of each type of post will be based in Bury, Lowestoft and Ipswich. You will need experience of working directly with young people, an understanding of the issues they face in relation to drug and alcohol use and preferably a relevant qualification.
 
 

Administrator - £15,308 to £16,383 pa
We are looking for an enthusiastic administrator to support the team. Do you have good IT skills and general office experience? Do you have a flexible attitude? We need you to ensure that data processing is completed in a timely and accurate manner, assist in the preparation of reports and the general administration of the service.
 
 
 
The service is partnership between: The Matthew Project and Trust Drug and Alcohol Service; funded through the Suffolk County Council. Please note that priority will be given to staff who are currently providing the service (with another organisation) and who may choose to transfer. Training and pension will be provided. Driving licence and access to car is essential for all these posts except the Administrator.

We are looking for someone outgoing, energetic and creative, preferably with an interest in drama, to work in schools and various outreach locations, providing education and advice about drugs and alcohol to groups and individuals. You will need experience of working directly with young people, understanding of the issues they face in relation to drug and alcohol use and preferably a relevant qualification. Driving licence and access to car is essential.

Under18 is partnership between: The Matthew Project, Trust Drug and Alcohol Service and Children's Services. (Post funded through Norfolk Drug and Alcohol Action Team). Training and pension will be provided.
