Dragons Den Event

On the 28th April 2012, members of the Matthew Project attended the Dragons Den event at Riverside with propositions to our Dragons.Ellen Jolly, Pauline Quadling and Neil Stott listened to our ideas of how to raise money and have fun for members of the project.

It was slightly intimidating at first but once everyone relaxed, it turned into a productive and fun afternoon.Many of the aims of the ideas were to provide a safe and understanding environment for our service users, who in turn can share their experiences so we can learn the perils of alcohol and drug addiction.

The Dragons decided to invest money to our individual groups so our ideas can turn into reality and help to educate and promote awareness of drug and alcohol addiction in our community.A big 'thank you' to our Dragons for listening and supporting our ideas and making the Matthew Project a more enjoyable, inviting and supportive environment.

Drug and alcohol addiction can be beaten and thanks to the Dragons and staff help and support, we are one step closer to beating addiction.
