Professionals and Adults working with Young People

The Matthew Project Youth Team works around the county with young people under the age of 25, regarding drugs, alcohol and other related issues.

We visit schools, youth clubs and areas where young people hang out across Norfolk to offer a creative, enthusiastic and dynamic approach to drug education.

We aim to help young people understand the effects of drugs and alcohol, empowering them to make more informed choices.

The youth team offers lessons and question times in primary, middle and high schools and PRUs in Norfolk and Suffolk. We provide alcohol workshops to Youth Offending Team attendance Centres and other venues delivering formal and informal education.

We also provide outreach services across the county including taking our Voicebox caravan to places where young people hang out and detached outreach.

We also deliver a one-to-one specialist alcohol service, funded by Comic Relief, for young people aged between 16 - 25 in market towns that are within a 20 mile radius of Norwich, either as a one off or for on going sessions.

Young people in the Broadland area can access our new coaching service, designed to help young people achieve their goals and move forward in life.

There are many myths about drugs and alcohol and it is important young people receive accurate information.
