The Matthew Project works with individuals and communities affected by substance misuse. The core role is to manage the charity’s finance and financial processes so that we have excellent financial governance. Experience of the charity sector and multi-stream funding would be an advantage. The post holder will also become Company Secretary for the charity.

Lead Worker 

King's Lynn

We are looking for an experienced professional to support young people under the age of 19 affected by substance misuse issues. You will need experience of working directly with young people, have a relevant qualification or experience and an understanding of the issues facing young people in relation to drug and alcohol use.

You will provide advice and informal education to young people in King's Lynn, raising awareness of the risks of drugs and alcohol through informal outreach and targeted work.  You will provide one to one sessions for young people, group work, drop-ins and awareness-raising sessions at various events and venues.

Living Well Worker

Living Well Workers are part of the development of Social Prescribing across Norfolk. Social Prescribing aims to address non-medical issues that may be causing or exacerbating health problems (e.g. debt, poor housing, mental ill health, social isolation, etc). The Living Well Worker will advise and support individuals on a 1:1 basis, with the aim that they will experience improved health and wellbeing. Some of that support will be delivered directly by the Living Well Workers as well as through linking the client with a wide range of specialist services and support in the community. The service is intended to be time limited support, which encourages self-service and empowers clients to take charge of their next steps.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our dedicated and experienced team. Working alongside the Service and Data Manager you will be responsible for efficient and effective data collection and analysis ensuring high standards of data quality with excellent attention to detail. You will work as part of the Unity service’s admin team, assisting them in the provision of day to day administration support helping to ensure that all clients receive a high-quality service. You will participate in project work using your problem solving and organisational skills to help drive improvements to systems and processes.
