Plastic 4 Charity
The Matthew Project would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who took part in our Plastic4Charity bottle top scheme!
With your help Plastic4Charity has been able to recycle approximately 140 tonnes of plastic and raise more than £7,000 for The Matthew Project.
Sadly, in January 2018 Plastic4Charity had to come to an end due to the decrease in the price of plastics, therefore we are no longer able to accept bottle tops.
We are trying to find a new way of recycling plastic waste, whilst also raising money for those affected by substance misuse. If you have any innovative ideas then please contact us on enquiries@matthewproject or call 01603 626 123
Handmade cosmetic company Lush will recycle your plastic bottle tops to make their black pots!
LUSH's instructions are:
"Customers can pop their bottle tops in a box or envelope and drop it to their local Post Office with 'Freepost LUSH GREENHUB' on the parcel (LUSH GREENHUB has to be in capitals!) The post office will then print off the label for you and send it directly to the Green Hub. It'll then go straight to our lovely Green Hub crew to be recycled, upcycled and all sorts of wonderful things."

Also, you can drop off your collected bottle tops to any of their stores!
