The Unity Service:

  • Has 3 multi-disciplinary teams based in King's Lynn, Norwich and Great Yarmouth.

  • Offers specialist support, advice and information for those using substances themselves.

  • Offers support for children and young people affected by someone else's substance misuse.

  • Works in partnership with Norfolk Family Carers to offer positive activities to young people affected by someone else’s substance use.

  • Offers training, awareness sessions and support to professionals and family members dealing with substance use.

  • Helps with drug and alcohol related health matters such as providing blood borne virus tests and vaccinations.

  • Works alongside many other agencies to ensure comprehensive support for our service users.

  • Provides assemblies, lessons and targeted group sessions in schools, colleges and alternative education settings.

  • We can provide brief interventions to support parents and carers where a child is using.
