"I DONE IT! When I first walked into The Matthew Project in January, I'd heard good things and that it was different to other drug and alcohol organisations, but I didn't realise just how good it was going to be. I was lost and broken and felt like I was just watching life go by, while I was just trying to hang on somewhere at the edges. My mental health was really low and there was too many things to deal with on my own.Â
Â
The courses, especially NLP with Julius and Natalie's group sessions, have changed the way I look at every part of my life and see it in a different way. It has completely changed my life for the better. I've met an amazing group of friends in the group I was in, and the best thing is, there is continued support and a social base that is open to you. Â
It's a really friendly and safe place to be when you’re in the early days of recovery. Â
I can't thank all the staff enough. Marie is a proper angel."Â
