The theme of Storytelling will be a main focus throughout the day. We believe that sharing stories within community is a crucial way to support those facing adversity and struggles and is a key part of the work we do here at TMP.

Our Stories of Hope Community Day aims to bring our community together sharing stories and experiences in a way that promotes hope, courage and overcoming challenges.

Soiree of Stories

During the evening of the 20th of September, we will be hosting our Soiree of Stories event here at The Matthew Project Center.

Cohosted by TOAST Poetry, we will be holding an evening of storytelling, performance, and music, all intending to use the sharing of stories as a way to come together as a community to support those facing adversity and hardship around the struggles of addiction.

There will be both performances from professional poets as well as stories from our members and our work as a charity. There will also be the option of joining us at our Open Mic on the evening. So whether you want to take part yourself or listen and show support for others, there is something for everyone.
