September Business Breakfast Round Up

1 min read

It was our pleasure at The Matthew Project to host our final Business Breakfast of the year last Friday. 20 businesses from our local community attended our session on Micro Habits and Wellbeing, chaired by our CEO Rachel Chapman, along with On Track Manager Anita Gagen and On Track Recovery Support Worker Kevin Dynes. There were lots of aspects of wellbeing discussed, using the NHS 5 Steps, ranging from connecting with your neighbours by chatting about their dogs to completing an 'all the things I've done list' instead of a to-do list. Anita and Kevin also shared news and updates from their On Track team, working with young people with challenges to their mental health, which our guests found both moving and educational.

Here are some of the comments from our guests:

Liz Rix from MMC said, "A very powerful presentation."

Ejike Ndaji from Leathes Prior said, "An impactful charity."

Jackie Wright from TCN said, "An absolutely fantastic cause! Will be getting more involved."

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the local businesses who have supported us by attending our business breakfasts throughout 2026 - we deeply appreciate your engagement with our work.

If you missed out this year, please make sure you SAVE THE DATE for our first business breakfast of the year in 2027! Our next event is scheduled for Friday 29th January 2027. The topic is TBC but watch this space!
