Our values
What we do and how we do it
We work alongside young people and adults to overcome the impact of drugs, alcohol, and mental health issues so they can live life more fully.

What we do

Our dedicated and experienced teams of caring professionals see the person, not the problem. We:
-
offer hope and a space to be listened to
-
tailor support rather than expecting everyone to fit into a standard model
-
work one-on-one with individuals as well as in groups, face to face and virtually.
-
help young people and adults to understand their behaviour and motivations; make the choices that are right for them and to develop skills and interests.
How we work

Our ethos is shaped by our Christian values:
-
Hope: We work to inspire brighter futures believing that lives can be transformed.
-
Empathy: We actively listen, understand and accept people, helping them achieve their goals.
-
Care: We create a culture of safety and wellbeing through warm and professional relationships.

Who we serve
We support young people and adults who:
-
have problems with drugs or alcohol
-
are at risk of exploitation in County lines activity
-
suffer from anxiety, depression and self-esteem issues
-
face barriers to education, employment and training
We also have specialist services:
-
run by veterans for veterans affected by drug and
alcohol issues and living with PTSD
-
for family members isolated and impacted by others'
drug and alcohol issues
We make a difference across Norfolk. Our Next Steps Recovery Hub in Norwich provides a place of community, learning and belonging, while our specialist veteran service operates across East Anglia.
