Hangout is a youth club for 10 to 16 year olds that launched in January 2020 that happens every Friday night at the Next Steps Recovery Centre, Norwich.

The youth club aims to provide support for children and young people who are affected by substance misuse issues. It will help give them increased awareness of how to be safe, strategies to manage their mental health and reduce isolation.

Hangout is delivered by George Harmer, our Positive Activities Engagement Worker and other volunteers for the young people to engage with.

Hangout provides positive activities for young people to enjoy every Friday night, ranging from cooking lessons in the training kitchen, to video game tournaments, and never missing out on a game of UNO.

"I come to Hangout to be stress free and forget everything for a while."
