Updated: Jun 3
It's been a brilliant past few months for our On Track Team – including fantastic employability sessions and fun days out designed to help build confidence and new skills.
As we head into summer, we're sharing fresh updates from our young people's programme, supporting 13-24-year-olds to enter or engage with education, training, or employment.

Young People's Practitioner Melissa's Updates on TMP Young People's Programme
Norwich Updates
In Norwich, we have launched our Personal Development Programme, with sessions focused on positive thinking and problem solving. During a recent session, we explored recognising our strengths and how we can build on them.

We had a wonderful day out at Hunter's Yard in May, with six young people enjoying the opportunity to get outdoors, try their hand at sailing and spend quality time together.
Later this month, we have a creative decoupage workshop planned, and we will also be returning to our allotment, where young people are excited to start work on their wildlife pond.
King's Lynn and West Norfolk Updates
Over in King's Lynn and West Norfolk, alongside our ongoing one-to-one coaching sessions, our Personal Development Programme sessions continue to support young people in building confidence and developing new skills.
Most recently, young people explored their strengths and weaknesses and created their own “strength jars” filled with encouraging reminders and personal achievements.

Early this month, we will be delivering a workshop focusing on Impostor Syndrome, featuring a guest speaker from Connect to Work, who will share advice and support around confidence and self-belief.
An upcoming trip to Snettisham Park Farm also promises to be a fantastic day out exploring a working farm, and a chance to feed some of the deer.
Keep An Eye Out for More News
Here at The Matthew Project, our On Track Team is delighted to continue supporting young people to re-engage with education, employment, training, or volunteering through dedicated confidence-building exercises and wellbeing support.
We know it's the personal connections that make a real difference in the lives of the young people we work with, which is why we're thrilled our fun, social, Norwich-based SafeSPACE sessions are continuing into the new financial year.
