Job Title: Content and Communications Officer

Starting salary: £11,516 per annum
Contract: 15 hours per week (2 days)

The Matthew Project empowers young people and adults to overcome drugs, alcohol, and mental health issues so they can live their lives more fully. We are looking for a passionate team player to raise the profile of our charity and widely promote the great work we do.
As our Content and Communications Officer, you will be responsible for the charity’s marketing and communication plan. This will include managing our social media channels and designing and creating engaging content and campaigns.
You will be managing the charity’s website, including SEO. You will be creating promotional assets (e.g., posters, leaflets, and social media posts) and assisting in the management of public relations and engagement with the media for the purpose of raising the charity’s profile.
The Matthew Project is a value driven charity working across East Anglia giving help and hope through programmes with adults, young people and communities affected by drugs and alcohol. We have a vision to reach every part of the community in the most creative, effective, and efficient ways. Through our varied services, young people and adults receive professional advice, information, counselling, support, care, and education.
